Any geek who defines himself as such, understands the world of TRON, the 1982 film by Steven Lisberger, with Jeff Bridges.

TRON is considered the first science fiction film that has as its reference point, the virtual reality
. All the scenes inside the computer were filmed in black and white, colored and once completed. Among the leaders of the film are the beginning of his career, Tim Burton. In the film are also cameos of characters in the game (eg Pac-Man) and Disney (eg Mickey Mouse).

In Tron, the focus of the story is Flynn, scheduler software for video games, in the fight against ENCOM, a powerful information technology company whose director, Dillinger, has passed for its programs in fact created by the young technical which is also an admired champion of videogames. While sitting at the terminal in search of the code, Flynn was observed through an electronic eye on the evil MCP, which - seeing that the efforts are establishing the intruder a danger too great - drives a powerful laser beam that the poor immobilises Flynn , digitizes the piece by piece, and recomposes in the form of energy within the integrated circuits that make up his universe. The human discovers to his great surprise that the programs created by him and his colleagues have created a new race of beings whose existence consists in executing the orders they are given by the program running. In the case of video games, these virtual beings must fight relentlessly, playing there on the challenges proposed by the game itself .....

For the new chapter has been a wait of 28 years .....

Directed by Joseph Kosinski and written by Eddie Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, writers of Lost, the film should arrive in cinemas in 2010. 300 million dollar budget.

The soundtrack has been entrusted to Daft Punk, and I do not believe that someone could do better :)
