Encouraged by the success obtained by the Transformers movie, Paramount Pictures and Hasbro have decided to devote a film to another series of cartoons of the 80s cult.
I G.I. Joe (Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity) have a special anti-terrorist group composed of some veterans of that war, with the help of innovative means of war fighting a criminal organization known as Cobra, whose goal is world domination dragging it into chaos.
The plot of the film incorporates the classic GI series Joe Real American Heroes, with the protagonist GI Team captained by Joe Duke, battling against the forces of Cobra Commander and his armies.
The team will no longer have its base in Brussels, but in the United States of America, as in the Marvel Comics series of the 80s.
The film explains the origins of many characters you will discover why Snake Eyes is mute, and why the evil Destro ports a metal mask.
In the cast, in the shoes of Duke, leading the team there will be the couple Channing Tatum and Dennis Quaid will wear the clothes of General Hawk and Cobra Commander will be Bad starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Sienna Miller, who will be the diabolical companion Cobra, said that all the actors have undergone a long and arduous physical training to improve their athletic skills, although the most loved and most agile will surely Snake Eyes, which will be starring Ray Park.
